BAE Systems Hägglunds – an unexpected order for BVS 10 belt trolleys placed new, tough demands on Hägglunds. They had to rationalise the manufacturing process and increase the rate of production. Knightec was given the assignment to develop bracket fixtures for the BVS 10. The fixtures hold the belt trolley’s body parts in the right position before a robot performs the final welding process. With Knightec’s assistance, they managed to reduce the production time by 20 hours.
