Micronic’s photomask machines for the manufacture of LCD screens are successful sellers. Customers place tough demands and the time from order to delivery is short. Knightec was entrusted to help Micronic with two sub-projects. Firstly, to develop a loading module to reduce the risk of crush damage to the quartz glass – the most important raw material for photomasks. And secondly, to develop a module that rotates the quartz glass into exactly the right position. In addition to the consultant having the right competence, Micronic believes that personal contact is also important for success.
