In September we’ll be kicking off “Knightec Trainee 2011” in Reykjavik, where 14 newly-qualified engineers will have the chance to develop into commercial consultants in the fields of product, production or business development.

Over a period of about six months the trainees will be trained in the profession of consultant with the support of a personal mentor. They will go on study visits in parallel with the projects that they themselves are helping to run. Two full days a month are spent at a residential course with trainees from other locations, where we deal in greater detail with commercial skills, presentation technique, project methodology and relevant tools together with internal and external trainers.

Trainees are driven, committed, outgoing and communicative, with a tremendous desire to develop and to be involved in developing our customers and Knightec. They have recently completed their education in the field of Engineering, Chemistry, IT, Electrical Engineering or Industrial Design and are working at all of our locations.
