This integrity policy includes you if you register with us via web interface, subscribe for events or are customer to us.

Data collection 

Personal data is information that can be used to identify or contact a specific individual. 

We collect information when registering on our web and if you sign up for our events as well as in connection with meetings. This information only includes email address whereas the information about you, as a customer, in the CRM system includes more information such as name, email, phone, company and address. 

In addition, information is automatically saved from your browser, IP address, software, and requested page. This information is not saved at the individual level. 

Knightec mainly has business and public activities as customers, so-called business to business. In order to be able to act as a developing and active part for customers, our industry and society, we need to handle information about people working with our customers. This means that we collect and record personal information such as name, phone number, email, departmental title and the like, and store it in our CRM system. For active, buying customers, information about the business we make is linked to the individual person who is the customer of our service. These are the tasks we need to fulfill the commitment we have in the agreement with the customer. 

In connection with delivery to our customers, we sometimes hire subconsultants. In order to fulfill our commitment to the customer, we need to collect and process information about you as a subconsult. Scope and storage of the information is matched when contracts are signed.

The data is saved as long as we have a valid agreement with the customer or there is a legal commitment attached to our commitment, and if there is any interest in developing cooperation between Knightec and the other party.

 When employing a subcontractor, we need information to complete the agreement with the customer.

The data is saved as long as we have a joint commitment with the customer or there may be an interest in developing cooperation between Knightec and the subconsult. 

Disclosure of information to third parties 

Knightec does not provide information or sell data to third parties. For the operation and maintenance of our web site, as well as our CRM system, we use an external party that is subject to confidentiality and personal data processing agreements that govern the confidentiality of the information. 

We believe that it may be necessary to share the information in order to investigate, prevent or take action against illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations that pose a potential risk to a person’s physical security, breach of our terms of use or other times when law requires it.

Knightec Website uses cookies. There are small text files stored on your computer when you visit a website. Cookies are used for some features that improve our web pages for the user and provide us with statistics on how the web is used.
